How open source projects collaborate

One of the best parts about working in open source projects is the way seeming competitors work together. In my latest article for the Pragmatic Programmers, I share a few ways open source projects work together.

If you’re not used to working in open source projects, the idea of helping your competitors might be hard to accept. But when we work together, we all do better.
